The Career Pathways Toolkit: A Guide for System Development
About
The Career Pathways Toolkit: A Guide for System Development, published by the Department of Labor's Employment and Training Administration (DOLETA), provides the workforce system with a framework, resources, and tools for states and local partners to develop and implement career pathways systems and programs.
This Toolkit incorporates relevant innovations, creative approaches, and best practices that emerged since the publication of the original Toolkit from a few years prior. This Toolkit aligns with the vision, definition, and requirements of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).
The primary audience for the Toolkit is staff at the state level representing one of the core partners that are required to develop a WIOA unified plan. In addition to the core partners, other important partners at the state and local level will find the Toolkit helpful in implementing a comprehensive career pathways system.
For assistance with implementation of the Toolkit, check out the Career Pathways Toolkit: An Enhanced Guide and Workbook for System Development.
