BLS Publishes "Employment Projections" (2016 - 2026)

About

The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that employment is projected to increase by 11.5 million over the 2016-26 decade, an increase from 156.1 million to 167.6 million.

Outside of the healthcare sector mentioned in the BLS release, the largest growth rate for occupations is found in the renewable energy sector: solar photovoltaic installers are projected to have a 105 percent growth rate between 2016 and 2026; wind turbine service technicians, a 96 percent growth rate.
