Integrated Systems: Resources for WIOA Program Alignment
About
The resources in this series are intended to facilitate a streamlined, coordinated system that delivers unified workforce services with Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Core Programs and other partner programs, including Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and Perkins V Career and Technical Education (CTE). This series includes resources from the U.S. Departments of Labor (DOL), Education (ED), and Health and Human Services (HHS).
WIOA encourages partnerships and program alignment across the entire workforce system to optimize service delivery. This includes meaningful collaboration across WIOA core and partner programs.
Meaningful collaboration across these programs may include co-enrolling participants, using shared intake and enrollment forms, combining case management systems, sharing data on program participants, training staff on eligibility criteria for other programs to facilitate referrals, co-locating in an American Job Center, and more.
DOL, ED, and HHS worked together to compile this series of resources to help facilitate collaboration and program alignment efforts in the field. The resources include webinars, research reports, technical assistance documents, official guidance from DOL and ED, desk references, and more. They are categorized by program and by common topic on the pages linked below. Some resources may appear on multiple pages.
